DS-14 Griffin

There are two variants of the Griffin: the DS-13 and DS-14. The DS-14 is the smaller of the two, designed for more economic transportation purposes and light ENDWeapons deployment, as of the Suppression and Elimination classes. A more massive vehicle, the DS-13 specializes in bulk transport and larger ENDWeapons deployment. Economically designed to be the exclusive air transport of the Monarch Corporation, the Griffin drop ships are highly versatile, capable of vertical takeoff and supersonic flight. The fuselage of the DS is skeletal, as modularity of cargo is the basis for its design. For short-range flight, the DS generates sufficient thrust from its propellers alone, while the jets and wings are utilized for maximum speed. Although the DS accounts for a human pilot, it is generally driven by AI.
